48" New Rotary Dura Blast Cabinet And Dust Collector System
The machine is considered a plug and play system and is easily moved by utilizing the built-in fork pockets to locate the machine. It is a free-standing cabinet that has a heavy duty, lined, 48” table with a 5000 lb. capacity for material handling. It has one direct drive 15HP, 7-blade blast wheel, and our dust collector can be mounted directly to the machine to save additional floor space. The PLC/Touch Screen controlled, electrical panel is mounted on the right side of the cabinet and is protected by vibration dampening mounts.
We utilize a double elevator system to fully air wash all the abrasive thrown by the blast wheel. The two-belt system allows us to keep the air wash and trash clean-out at eye level, so it is easier to adjust and maintain. This design also allows us to keep the overall height to a minimum, by removing the air wash from above the hopper.
Many of our “standard” features are add-ons and upcharges with other manufacturers,
so pay close attention to quotes on similar machines, to see what you are getting for your money.
We provide a one-year warranty, full technical support, and readily available replacement parts.

SPECIFICATIONS – DURABLAST 48” TABLE
CENTRIFUGAL BLAST WHEEL
Wheel: The direct drive blast wheel revolves at 3600 RPM for maximum abrasive velocity.
The blast wheel is available in 12”, 13.5” and 15” diameters. Balanced wheel components assure
smooth operation.
Blades: Long life, abrasive resistant cast alloy blades, matched by weight for proper wheel balance.
Control Cage: Dial type cage.
Blast Wheel Housing: Available in ¼” mild steel, AR steel, or manganese steel. All liners are
replaceable.
CABINET CONSTRUCTION
Outer Cabinet: AR 500 construction, fork truck pockets for easy placement.
Cabinet Lining: Replaceable cast alloy liners in direct blast area, options to fully line the blast
cabinet area, or just line certain areas as needed.
Worktable: 48” diameter worktable is constructed of 1/2” steel plate. Table liner is 3/8” abrasive
resistant steel. Cabinet cutout makes worktable accessible by overhead hoist. Heavy duty table
support bearings are completely enclosed for protection from stray abrasive.
Table Drive: Chain driven by an electric motor and gear reducer located under the table. Table
revolves at 4 RPM.
Double-Lock Door: Our 48-table door has both a pneumatically operated air cylinder clamp, and a
pneumatically operated vertical door pin. If power or air is cut to the machine, the door cannot
open, and we integrate a timer in case the E-Stop is activated, so you have to wait for the wheel to
slow down before you can open the door. Rubber door seal helps prevent abrasive escape. A
mangalloy door skin helps reduce wear on the inside of the door, and does away with unwanted
rubber liners.
Work Loading Height: 36”
Maximum Working Dimensions: 48” diameter, 19” high at edge of table and 37” height at center
of table.
Workload 7,055 Capacity: 5,000 pounds.
ABRASIVE CLEANING & RECOVERY SYSTEM
Elevator and Air Wash: Double V-belt system that carries the abrasive to an adjustable, eye-level
separator where 100% of the abrasive is air washed, then cleaned abrasive is carried up to the
abrasive storage hopper for feeding of the blast wheel. Easy access screens are in place to help
keep larger, foreign items from damaging the blast wheel components. Elevator belts are adjustable
to prevent the belts from slipping as they wear.
Abrasive Flow: Manually adjustable, butterfly type abrasive valve for setting blast wheel amperage
and controlling abrasive flow. Optional Magna-Valve available for automatic adjustment with
different abrasives or Shot Peening use.
Abrasives: Most standard shot or grit type abrasives can be used, and the initial abrasive charge is
1000 lbs.
Dura-Blast Six16 Dust Collector, 800 CFM, Reverse Pulse,
6 Cartridge, 240/480-volt 3ph electrics, 48TB & 6BB $7,055.00 Included
Separator: 12” gravity lip has adjustable abrasive spreader and refuse gate for maximum
contaminate removal.

End User Responsibilities
With all industrial equipment purchases, there are certain items/
requirements that are not included with the purchase of the equipment and
are the responsibility of the buyer.
Below is a partial list of the most common items associated with this type
of equipment. Please review and get with your sales representative with any
additional questions.
On Location
• Is your floor flat, smooth, and weight rated for the weight of the
equipment and the parts to be processed.
• You should have any items needed to level and possibly anchor the
machine to the floor.
• Do you have an adequate structure to protect the equipment from
moisture and weather?
• Have you planned for any structural changes to accommodate ductwork
and equipment?
• Have all permits, inspections, and licenses been approved and
acquired?
• Do you have available power, air, and lighting for installation
needs?
• Have you made arrangements for any needed ductwork to connect the
machine to the dust
collector?
Electrical
• Is there an adequate disconnect for the needed amp draw?
• You may need to run wiring between machine components, dust
collection equipment, I/O boxes, etc.
• All existing electrical connections on the equipment should be
checked after shipment, to make sure connections have not come loose.
• Existing power supply should match the requested machine voltage.
Compressed Air
• All required hard pipe, air hose, and connections should be available
on location. As is the
case with most air-fed plant equipment, the air should be dry, free of oil
and any other contaminants, and be adequate to supply the equipment
purchased. Sales representative should be able to provide air requirements.
• Any performance or quality issues that result from poor quality
compressed air, whether negligent or caused by outside variables, may void
any warranty on certain parts.
• Quality compressed air is needed for solenoids, air cylinders,
abrasive valves, dust collectors, filters, and any air lines or fittings.
Poor quality air may cause issues with these components and
be the cause of costly non-warrantied repairs.
